Tomintoul 1967 cannot be labeled as Single Malt Scotch Whisky, since it does not exceed 40% vol to be defined as such. This Malted Spirit Drink, as defined by Samaroli, comes from the Tomintoul distillery, where it was distilled in 1967, until Samaroli decided to bottle it independently in 2016 with an alcohol content of 37% vol. Only 90 bottles of this 49-year-old Malted Spirit Drink produced.
TASTE: Complex and intriguing; mint, rosemary and herbs are complemented by fresh leather and chocolate.
AGING: Oak barrels.
