Whisky Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whiskey 100 Proof
BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
This Straight Rye Whiskey is produced in Kentucky by Heaven Hill Brands, in the tradition of the classic rye whiskey of Pennsylvania, and takes its name from the famous square in Philadelpia, "Rittenhouse Square"; it is bottled from only 100 barrels with an alcohol content of 100 Proof (50% vol).
The label bears the wording "BOTTLED-IN-BOND" which provides, according to the law, that the bottle is put on the market, from the result of a single distillation carried out by a single distiller at a single distillery. It must also be bottled and stored in specific bonded warehouses under the supervision of the US government for no less than 4 years. The law also provides that the alcohol content must be 50% vol (100 Proof).
TASTE: Notes of rye, plum, sesame oil, with bitter orange and cinnamon.
AGING: New charred American oak barrels.
