Whisky Akashi 4 Year Old White Wine Cask
500ml BOTTLE
Akashi 4 Year Old White Wine Cask is an experiment by White Oak, the Group that owns the Eigashima distillery from which this comes whisky. We are in Japan, more precisely in the Honshu region – Hyogo and Akashi is the brand with which the bottles of this distillery are marketed, often with experiments on the use of the aging barrels to expand the baggage with unpublished notes olfactory and gustatory del whisky the final. Akashi is carving out an important space for itself thanks to both this control over the wood used and the production process, thanks also to consultancy from Scotland and the United States to keep up with the best-known countries for the production of whisky.
In this case for this Akashi 4 Year Old White Wine Cask it was decided to refine the whisky for three and a half years in barrels that previously contained French Cognac and then a period of about ten months in barrels that previously contained white wine, coming directly from the Akashi company located in the Yamanashi region.
