It is bottled at an alcohol content of 50% vol, with no indication of age. East meets West in this Amrut Fusion, Single Malt composed of Indian malt, harvested at the foot of the Himalayas, and Scottish peat malt to make a whisky with a rich character and flavour. All production takes place in the distillery in Bangalore, at 3000 meters above sea level, which boasts an ideal tropical climate for the maturation of whisky Amrut. Amrut Fusion is bottled at an alcohol content of 50% vol, without cold filtration or the addition of colourings.
TASTE: Warm peat, vanilla, custard, fruit and dark chocolate; dry finish with peat and oak, sweetness of molasses and spices.
AGING: American ex Bourbon oak barrels.
