Amrut Indian Single Malt is a recent example of whisky Indian, coming from one of the distilleries that - on the global scene - has been able to make itself known to enthusiasts from all over the world very quickly. The Amrut distillery was founded in 1948 shortly after the end of the Second World War but only at the beginning of the 80s did it decide to dedicate itself exclusively to the production of whisky of high quality, selecting the best raw materials and intercepting the best global barrels to age your own whisky. We remind you that the tropical climate in which the distillery is located allows for shorter refinement, having to deal with much higher annual evaporation compared to the temperate Scottish or Japanese climate.
