Angus Dundee Distillers
Angus Dundee Distillers is a Scottish company of independent bottlers, based in London founded in 1950 by former Burn Stewart executive Terry Hillman as a blended company whisky Scottish.
In 2000, Angus Dundee purchased the Tomintoul distillery, bringing a choice of single malts to the company's product range. Three years after the Tomintoul purchase, Angus Dundee acquired Glencadam. Unlike Tomintoul, Glencadam already had a long tradition of producing whisky, having been founded in 1825.
Angus Dundee Distillers owns the Tomintoul distillery in Speyside and Glencadam in Brechin in the east of the Highland region. In addition to its two distilleries, Angus Dundee also owns a bottling plant in Coatbridge, near Glasgow.
Angus Dundee is also the producer of Blended Malt Scotch Whisky "Smokey Joe", which is made with Single Malt from the island of Islay.
