Whisky Bellevoye Rouge
700ml BOTTLE
Bellevoye Rouge represents an innovative way to look at and taste the whisky French. France is certainly not one of the most important countries when it comes to whisky, or barley or cereal distillate, despite having a great tradition with the distillation of cognac and armagnac, among the most loved distillates in the world. Bellevoye's challenge is therefore the centrality of France as a producer of whisky, going to select some of the best barrels produced within national borders and then combining them according to the taste of the two founders of Bellevoye, namely Jean Moueix and Alexandre Sirech. Both coming from the world of wine, the two decided to face this challenge together and immediately committed themselves to looking for and finding the barrels to be combined or to be refined in the warehouses owned by the company.
This Bellevoye Rouge is a whisky sourced from three different French distilleries whisky, with a light peat and a final step - a so-called affinato - in barrels that have contained a "Grand Cru Classé" wine from Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux.
TASTE: Light toasting noticeable and then moving on to warm and juicy fruity notes, cereals and spices.
AGING: French oak barrels former Grand Cru Classé wine from Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux.
