Bimber 4 Year Old is a whisky English produced by the Bimber distillery and selected by the collective of whisky Italian bloggers who collaborate under the name of Whisky Easy. The boys cut their teeth with a decade of tastings and working in the sector, before deciding to also engage in the selection of a few casks of their own taste, to give a personal contribution to the world of independent bottlers and to be able to put a face to their tastes. Turning to another independent bottler and cask broker – ADRattray – the boys got their hands and noses on this unique cask, a real rarity if you consider that the Bimber distillery opened its gates just a few years ago and has been garnering acclaim ever since. every part of the globe. The cask is number 297/17 and it is European oak which previously contained Pedro Ximenez sherry, before making way for the whisky which remained in casks for about a year after spending three years in ex bourbon casks and today is presented as a limited edition of only 280 full-grade bottles, i.e. without dilution with water. Honorable mention for the label, dedicated to a black cat. In this case the bad luck lies elsewhere.
