BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
Botran 15 Year Old Reserva rum is a blend of rums aged between 5 and 15 years. The Botran 15 Year Old Reserva belongs to the historical range of rums of the Botran family, founders of the Industrias Licoreras of Guatemala boast of having created a perfect production of rum, using the precious raw materials that the territory of Guatemala offers, such as the exceptional water, the special and sweet sugar canes and the meticulous aging process Solera Method. The choice of the aging process was also important.
These rums aged up to 15 years are the result of the distillation of sugar cane juice which, subjected to slow fermentation, is transformed into cane syrup or also called virgin "honey". The maturation process with the Solera Method takes place at more than 2.400 meters above sea level and gives the distillate a unique identity. The barrels chosen for this Solera Method are toasted oak barrels ex Whiskey aged American and European oak ex Sherry casks, to then finally mature in ex Porto casks.
