700ml BOTTLE
Botran Cobre Spiced Rum Edición Limitada is the spiced rum from the Botran line of spirits. The distillate with which they create this blend is the fermentation of "virgin sugar cane honey", then distilled at an altitude of over 2.000 meters above sea level in the mountains of Guatemala, where it is blended with the Solera Method.
Therefore, starting from the base of aged Botran rum, Industria Licorera Quezalteca, was inspired by the old traditions of liqueur production in the territory of Gutemala, thus creating an unmistakable aromatic drink. The botanicals distilled before mixing them in aged rum are essentially 4, ginger, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon.
The company is very attentive to the quantity and quality of the botanicals to be used to always create the same winning aroma for this drink. Its creation is difficult and meticulous. The stills used are made of copper called "Cobre", and only subsequently combined with aged rum. The decidedly long permanence of the distillate in the various woods gives further spicy and woody notes.
Guatemalan history boasts of ancient traditions about these fine drinks with different botanicals and spices. The best known drink was the "Ponche" to date replaced by other drinks easier to produce but what made these drinks special was the festive atmosphere they were able to create.
TASTE: Complex aromatic nuances, with a long structure, spicy and with a warm and intense finish.
