Bushmills 21 Year Old is the whiskey oldest released by Bushmills, the oldest Irish distillery in the world, having started distilling by now four centuries ago, in 1608. The expertise acquired over the centuries has led Bushmills to dominate the market, reaching markets and enthusiasts all over the world, thanks to the always recognizable character ea whiskey soft intended for every type of palate.

The elegance of whiskey of Bushmills is particularly felt with this long aging of over 21 years: as always when it comes to Bushmills, the base is triple distillation to lighten the spirit even more from heavy and less aromatic substances. The spirit that comes out of this traditional procedure then passes 19 years of aging in two types of barrels, ex Bourbon and ex Sherry. The final step, the so-called "finish", consists of two years of aging in barrels that have contained Madeira wine, to add the characteristics of this particular type of wine. A way to savor one of the highest excellences of the whiskey Irish, no doubt.

TASTE: Delicate but full, fruity and spicy notes, dried fruit and cocoa, white pepper and citrus.
