Clément Rhum Single Batch 100% Canne Bleue is produced by Maison Clement on the island of Martinique. In pure French style, it follows the AOC specification, which enforces the rules starting from the production and cultivation of sugar cane, up to the aging process of the rum.

The Rum Clément in question is produced from a particular and exclusive sugar cane, the blue cane, which is rare, with a different color from other sugar cane and intense and sweet aromas. So this rum is produced from the distillation of pure sugar cane juice which, after controlled fermentation, is matured in American oak barrels for a period of 4 years and 9 months. An agricultural rum of intense aroma, where we can perceive the toasted and woody notes that the oak barrel gives it, softer notes and hints of dried fruit and toasted bread. 

Another characteristic of this rum does not belong to the aromatic endowment, but to its rare production. Indeed this Clément Rhum Single Batch 100% Canne Bleue was produced in limited quantities and its total production is 12000 bottles. Every single bottle of the Canne Bleue collection must be signed by the cellar master and, thanks to the numerical code affixed to the bottle, it is possible to trace the important elements that best describe the content. Among these, for example, the barrel, the type of maturation and also the origin of the sugar cane with which it was made.
