Cody Road Rye Whiskey it's a whiskey which comes directly from the legend of Buffalo Bill: William Cody was in fact born in Iowa in 1846 and gave birth to a real modern mythology. A detail that is often overlooked is the interest in the whiskey and a sort of distribution that Buffalo Bill had set up thanks to his frequent trips to American soil. It is said that the whiskey of rye – the rye whiskey – was his favourite, so Dave and Jim Wherry decided to dedicate this label produced entirely with rye owned in Fulton, in the state of Illinois, to the figure of Buffalo Bill. The whiskey of rye in the past was considered less relevant than other types, while today it has the same weight as other productions: our advice is certainly to use this whiskey in mixing preparations but also to enjoy it on its own, with a few drops of water to fully reveal its unmistakable aroma.
