Whisky Compass Box Glasgow Blend
BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
Compass Box Glasgow Blend is a splendid creation by Compass Box, a company specializing in the creation of blends of indisputable value. Compass Box operates unique selections in the panorama of whisky, going to research and select some barrels from different distilleries and having fun combining them to give life to unique products that have nothing to envy to a classic single malt, but rather combine characteristics that are difficult to find in whisky of a single distillery. This operation seems easy but in reality it is complex and requires great skills in the tasting and calibration of the percentages: the greatness of a blend lies precisely in the proportions.
Compass Box has therefore created this blend openly dedicated to the city of Glasgow, the second most important in Scotland, and John Glaser – founder of Compass Box – has decided to pay homage to the city with a blended whisky intense and full, decisive. For this blend John has combined malts from Aberlour, Laphroaig, Cylnelish, Glen Moray and others, with a portion of whisky of wheat from the Cameronbridge distillery. Cheers to all Glaswegians!
TASTE: Intense and spicy, smoky notes mix with ripe fruit, honey and caramel.
AGING: American oak hogsheads barrels, ex Bourbon American oak barrels and ex Sherry Oloroso barrels.
