Compass Box is not a real distillery, in the sense that it does not directly produce distillates to be marketed: its role in the world of whisky it is putting your own selections on the market, buying and mixing barrels from other distilleries. If this practice may seem counterintuitive to a consumer, history tells us that i whisky most famous come from these selections, including those whisky (such as J&B and Chivas) which have an important reputation.
