The history of the Cubaney company begins at the end of the 800th century in Cuba, where the Catalan Juanillo Oliver began to grow sugar cane and tobacco on these vast lands that the territory offered. Beginning with the creation of cane sugar he soon understood that he could fruit this very important raw material to produce rum. His Cuban rum was remarkable and much loved. With the war of independence, the Oliver family abandoned those crops and moved between the Caribbean and the Americas.
The great passion inherited from Juanillo Oliver brought the family back to revive this distillate by establishing the foundations of the company in the incredible territory of the Dominican Republic. Nowadays they have made themselves known all over the world and the Ron Cubaney range is still produced by the descendants of the pioneer of this Cuban rum.
