Diplomatico Mantuano is phenomenal rum. In the lands of Venezuela, the Diplomatico company operates independently producing rum of great value by working for the sustainability of the environment with innovative cultivation and production practices. Using spring water that comes directly from the Andes, they create higher quality rums than other area distillates. Produced from a blend of virgin sugar cane "honey" rum and molasses, it is a stunning concentrate of aromas and flavours. Even belonging to the Traditional line of rums Diplomatico has nothing less than the company's reserve rums. Its aging of 8 years in ex-bourbon and ex-malt American oak barrels whisky creates an effective and robust structure for this distillate, making its aromatic bouquet explosive.

An intense finish worthy of an exceptional rum. As for its packaging, the company has focused a lot on remembering who inspired their passion. Don Juancho thanks to his tasting and production experiences of rum was the one who first produced a Diplomatico rum. 

TASTE: Warm notes are released on the palate, reminiscent of dried plums. Then there are woody notes and dried fruit, sweet spices and vanilla.  

AGING: American oak barrels ex Bourbon and ex malt whisky.
