The Diplomatico distillery was born in the late 50s in Lara, one of the states of Venezuela, located in the western part of the country.

Only around 1990 was it purchased by the Barquisimeto family together with all its land cultivated entirely in sugar cane, starting to produce in greater quantities all the Diplomatico rums on the market today. As a result, Diplomatico rums, in addition to being award-winning rums of enviable quality, are well-established all over the world.

Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva is a unique blend of the company's special reserve rums. Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva, like all products of the company's traditional range, is produced in Venezuela from rum of virgin sugar cane "honey", in a higher percentage, and molasses that have matured up to 12 years in American oak barrels. . This production prerogative for Diplomatico rums was chosen by the master blenders to create exceptional products curated throughout their production path. TASTE: Aromatic notes of orange peel, combined with nuances of toffee and sweet spices among which licorice stands out. Dense and warm, it offers a long and intriguing finish.
