Don Papa Rum Baroko is part of the new production in Don Papa rums. The original and very interesting taste comes from its important raw material, namely "Black Gold" molasses, which is the result of the meticulous and intense grinding of the fine sugar cane of the Negros Island in the Philippines. The vast cultivation of this specific variety of sugar cane is located on the slope of the Kanlaon volcano in the center of the archipelago and is nicknamed Sugarlandia.
Rum Don Papa Baroko, like all rums of the distillery, is aged in oak barrels and aged in the perfectly humid and tropical climate of the island. The distillation of molasses takes place with a particular column method studied by Bago Distillery to create perfect products, with vibrant characteristics and aromas.
Regarding this particular line of Baroko, the Don Papa company is committed to helping and supporting the Talarak Foundation and the Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation. A project created to contribute financially to the protection of the flora and fauna of the island of Negros. In the packaging, therefore, all endangered species have been reproduced, even the most severely compromised.
