Whisky Elements Of Islay Peat
500ml BOTTLE
For the production of this Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, the bottler Elixir Distillers wanted to pay homage to the most important element of the island, peat. Using lots made up of about 60 casks from distilleries in the north and south of Islay, we have tried to respect all the distinctive features of the distilleries, uniting them under the only shared element, i.e. the use of peat. Peat is bottled Full Proof with an alcohol content of 59.3% vol.
TASTE: Warm with notes of toasted fruit, smoke and dark chocolate envelop the palate and intertwine with lemon oil and hints of toasted spices and barrel char, which complement the peat and smoke. In the final smoke, truffle salt and sweet spices.
AGING: Oak barrels.
