Whisky Elements Of Islay Peat & Sherry
500ml BOTTLE
Elements Of Islay Peat & Sherry is a blended whisky from the Elements of Islay collection by Sukhinder Singh, connoisseur of whisky and owner of wine shops in England. Sukhinder's goal through this project is to pay homage to the island of Islay: we are in Scotland and, despite the small size of this island, some of the most important distilleries in the world are based here (Laphroaig, Caol Ila, Ardbeg , Lagavulin, etc.). For some years Sukhinder has decided to select and market some single casks of whisky of Islay to give their own vision of what is happening in this part of the world.
After various releases, all highly appreciated by critics and the public, the project has expanded with a series of blends, always coming from Islay and always with no declared age or declared origin: in this case we have a bottle of whisky coming from two different Islay distilleries, both with a final aging of about 18 months in casks that previously contained sherry, to broaden the complexity of the whisky final.
TASTE: Dense and intense, fruity notes of dried fruit and citrus, spices, salt and peat. Long smoked train.
