Filey Bay IPA Finish Batch #1 is not a whisky like many others, but it is the real example of how quality can be pursued, innovating and experimenting but always keeping in mind the cornerstones of tradition, especially when different techniques such as brewing and distillation are combined.

Filey Bay is none other than the brand with which Spirit of Yorkshire markets its own whisky, however trying to add some unique features to make the bottle even more interesting: in this case it was decided to have the whisky for a short final period (the so-called finish) in barrels that previously contained beer, the same beer produced in the company's own plants. In this case every aspect of this whisky it comes from the distillery, thus being able to give complete feedback on the company's technical capacity. Spirit of Yorkshire is one of the micro-distilleries that have sprung up in England in recent years, to satisfy the thirst for whisky which is infecting the whole world, with unique products and limited editions precisely to give enthusiasts the opportunity to taste ever-changing characteristics.

TASTE: Spicy and vanilla, ripe fruit and cereals, cocoa and cereal biscuits.

AGING: American oak ex Bourbon barrels and ex IPA World Top Brewery beer barrels.
