Founded in 1897, Glentauchers was one of the distilleries owned by renowned blender James Buchanan and the design was overseen by the legendary Charles Doig, who contributed to the innovation and future success of the Scotch whisky. Today, bottlings of this lighter style Speysider are very hard to come by and Gordon & MacPhail is one of the few companies to have consistently bottled this much underrated malt.
