Hart Brothers 17 Year Old Port Finish is a blended malt composed of a mix of casks from different distilleries and selected by Hart Brothers, a company engaged in the distribution of alcoholic beverages since its foundation in 1992. Today the company is managed by the two brothers Alistair and Donald, both with a past in the alcohol industry and since then personally involved in putting their name on the labels of a varied series of whisky. First of all there are the selections of the distilleries that are selected and sold as single casks, while in other cases – as in our Hart Brothers 17 Year Old Port Finish – the selection leads to the choice of combining several casks to obtain an even more important result in qualitative terms. In this case it was decided to carry out a final aging step in barrels that previously contained Port wine, i.e. barrels slightly larger than the standard.

TASTE: intense and full, again red fruit and dried fruit, honey and cereals, spices and berries

AGING: in oak barrels and finish in ex Porto barrels
