ADDITIONAL DETAILS ABOUT WHISKY HIBIKI JAPANESE HARMONY

HIBIKI JAPANESE HARMONY is a whisky Japanese born from the union of three whisky distilled in Japan, the flagship of the Suntory group: the floral and elegant part comes from Hakushu, Yamazaki takes care of the fruity part while the softness is guaranteed by the participation of the whisky of Chita wheat. Hibiki was one of the first whisky Japanese blended products to establish themselves on the global market and, while a few years ago it was possible to get their hands on versions with an age declared on the label, today the enormous demand for whisky Japanese forced the distilleries of the Land of the Rising Sun to release bottles without a declared age of refinement, having to deal with a shortage of whisky aged and for this reason having to be even more careful when assembling these blended ones.

The risk of marketing whisky too young is high but the technical ability, expertise and improvement that are typical of the Suntory staff has put in place a series of safe countermeasures to have whisky of great caliber: the assembly serves precisely this, that is to smooth out the roughness of each individual component by amalgamating and balancing the various protagonists, without there being a voice out of the chorus. HIBIKI JAPANESE HARMONY establishes itself on the market as one of the main blended products whisky Japanese, a champion to beat for those entering the market today and a splendid example of how to drink quality when it comes to a noble Japanese distillate.

HIBIKI JAPANESE HARMONY also shows many small details of the distilleries from which it is generated: first of all the bottle is not perfectly round and beveled but has twenty-four hollows, as are twenty-four recognizable nuances of this whisky. The refinement takes place in five different types of barrels, precisely to amalgamate the differences and not have a more powerful voice within a harmonious chorus, giving life to a whisky where “balance” is the most important keyword. Balance, harmony: these are the key words for this HIBIKI JAPANESE HARMONY, a wonderful son of Japan, a living example of the ability to perfect which in less than a century has brought the whisky of Japan to fight on equal terms with the rest of the world.

The Hibiki brand was created in 1989 to celebrate 90 years of the Suntory group and on that occasion it was decided to plant a flag and create a new brand with the positive characteristics of all the members of the Suntory group, a sort of quintessence of corporate and international philosophy of this company, a way to present itself to customers from all over the world under a single flag. HIBIKI JAPANESE HARMONY is a rather recent addition but follows the path traced for over thirty years, a special bottle to share with those closest to you to appreciate the harmony of this distillate, giving voice now to one hour to another of the characteristics of the spirits that are combined to create this little wonder.
