The Kamiki distillery is located in the vicinity of Nara, the ancient capital of Japan where you can visit many eighth-century temples that are said to give the city its spiritual power. Kamiki is a Japanese word formed from Kami which means "God" and iki which means "breath", and derives from Ōmiwa, one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan (in Nara), a tutelary temple of Japanese alcohol producers, a perfect name because of this whisky which makes balance and harmony its strength.
The production of the distillery focuses on Blended Malt Whisky, not cold filtered, created in small batches with rare whisky of Japanese malt, blended with pure high quality Japanese spring water.
