Kensei Pure Malt 3 Year Old is another splendid example of how the workers and technology of the whisky Japan have made giant strides in a few decades reaching an incomparable level of quality and gustatory pleasure: despite the very few years of aging - 3 years is the minimum limit for marketing whisky in Japan – this Pure Malt already returns a fairly good olfactory and gustatory spectrum. The Kiyokawa distillery is located in the northern part of Japan, in the Nagano Prefecture, an area suitable for aging distillates in barrels due to the harsh winters and hot but not arid summers: in addition to the Kensei line, Kiyokawa is responsible for producing and to select whisky blended, combining the best whisky of barley and wheat.

TASTE: intense and slightly smoky with notes of banana, apple and ripe fruit, spices and herbaceous notes
