This Single Malt was presented by Nikka in 2020 to celebrate the 100th wedding anniversary of its founder Masataka Taketsuru and Rita Cowan. This Nikka from the Yoichi distillery has finished maturing in casks that have contained apple brandy. Apples are a strong symbol of Nikka's history, as Taketsuru started his business by selling apple juice and jam while the first whisky they were aging in cellars.

TASTE: Rich and oily, with salty notes; the peaty character remains, while floral and honey scents appear to create the right balance. Subtle, peaty and fresh finish, reminiscent of green apples and light ash.
