Whisky Paddy Irish Whiskey
BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
Paddy, the legend: impossible, especially in the United States, not to know this whiskey which alone represents the fourth whiskey best selling irish in the world. Paddy's story dates back to the last decades of the 1800s, when the Cork Distilleries company was founded to try to combine efforts to make the products of the distilleries better known and marketed, mainly blends of whiskey of wheat and whiskey of barley. In 1882 a young salesman was hired: Paddy Flaherty: the skill of the boy (and then of the man) in placing the whiskey of the company became legendary and the pubs it supplied, when ordering, wrote on the sale sheet “il whiskey Paddy's” so that soon the two things became synonymous.
From 1912 all this became reality and the name became Paddy on a permanent basis: even today the recipe is more or less the same as it was at the time and includes whiskey distilled three times and aged for up to seven years. The percentage of whiskey malt content is quite high and this makes Paddy a whiskey much appreciated, although extremely helpful.
TASTE: Very easy to drink, thanks to the sweet notes of fruit and spices, vanilla and caramel.
AGING: Oak barrels.
