Paul John Nirvana represents for the Indian distillery the first descent into Nirvana, the state of peace and quiet with the world that should accompany the taster from the first sip of this whisky special. Paul John's Indian distillery is delighting palates all over the world thanks to careful constant research in the production phases, selecting the best methods to give a whisky intense but soft, enveloping and with marked peculiarities, the result of a distillery in a sub-tropical country with its particularities, including the highest annual evaporation compared to the rest of the world and consequent accelerated maturation. Paul John also uses a particular type of six-row barley, against the two canons of barley we know, resulting in a dense and oily body, barley grown on the slopes of the Himalayas.
This version of Paul John Nirvana is aged in charred ex bourbon oak barrels, with peculiar and easily recognizable characteristics even for those approaching the whisky for the first time.
