Penderyn Patagonia Icons of Wales No.11 is a whisky one of a kind, particular in its production because it combines two malts from two different places in the world, both with a story to tell. Penderyn is a distillery with a history of over a century in Wales and which today relies on as many as three production sites to meet the demands of this whisky particular. The whisky by Penderyn - for this Penderyn Patagonia Icons of Wales N.11 - joins the first whisky of Patagonia, that is whisky produced at the La Alazana distillery, a distillery founded in 2011 by the Serenelli family and built entirely on site, including the still. The bottle commemorates the 1865 journey of 153 settlers who left Wales and landed in Patagonia to build a new existence thousands of kilometers from home.
