BOXED BOTTLE 700ml - Puni is the first 100% distillery, founded in Alto Adige by the Ebensperger family in 2010. In the last decade the whisky of Puni have established themselves in the world, even winning prestigious awards and scores. This Puni Alba completes the range with the peculiarity of the refinement, which takes place for three years in oak barrels which have partly contained Marsala wine and partly whisky peat of the Isle of Islay.- Available in stock: Not available

In the years i whisky di Puni have won several medals in international competitions, satisfying the palate of enthusiasts from all over the world. The raw material for this Puni Alba is not only barley but a blend of barley, wheat and rye.
Puni Alba is a whisky with a unique refinement, or in a mix of oak barrels of ex-Marsala and ex whisky peated, going to connote the whisky final with the intense notes of peat combined with the peculiar notes of Marsala wine. The peated barrels come directly from the Scottish island of Islay, home of the best known and most appreciated whisky troubles of the world.
The Puni distillery is constantly experimenting because in Italy we have not previously seen distilleries born expressly for whisky, in a territory - Alto Adige - known mainly for its wines and some marc distillates. The company choice also consists in distilling only in certain periods of the year in order to be able to maintain an artisanal control over every aspect of production, from the procurement of raw materials to ordinary maintenance to the handling of the barrels and bottles of this precious nectar.
TASTE
Warm and spicy palate, with fruity notes ranging from candied fruit to orange peel, with some small peaty inputs. The long and spicy finish renews the personality of a whisky which cannot be confused with any other.
AGING
Ex Marsala barrels and barrels of whisky peat from Scotland.
