Puni Aura Limited Edition No.2 is not simply the second edition of the only one whisky currently on the market, but is more a complete innovation and continuation of the pioneering activity of the small distillery in South Tyrol. The important peculiarity is certainly related to the origin of the distillation, with the Ebensperger family who decided years ago to invest in whisky going to build from scratch and with huge expenses the square-shaped distillery, also trying to understand the secrets and processes of the well-known Scottish and Irish distillers.

After a phase of experimentation, Puni began to release the first bottlings and today, about ten years after the first bottles, the direction seems to be the correct one, with technically flawless products and the maturity of the wood that begins to give depth and malt elegance. In this case, Puni Aura Limited Edition No. 2 is aged for over eight years in barrels that previously contained Marsala wine: in addition to this, Puni has decided to maintain the alcohol percentage that exceeds sixty degrees, a true record. .

TASTE: Dense and intense, dried fruit and spices, increasing intensity with notes of ripe fruit, cherries in alcohol, candied orange and cocoa.

AGING: Ex Marsala oak barrels.
