The first distillery of whisky Italian, Puni, produces this whisky of malt aged for 4 years. The name Sole highlights two crucial moments in the production of Sherry. After harvesting, the grapes are dried under the hot Spanish sun to concentrate their sweetness. The Sherry wine ages several years in various oak barrels.
These barrels will then be used to refine this whisky. The sun of Trentino beats down on this release, a limited edition proposed by a real Italian gem: Puni has been offering Italian malt for some years and in recent years it has managed to make its way around the world, conquering the most demanding palates and putting the flag of our nation on the map of the whisky that matters. An excellent result that can only grow in quality and various appreciations.
TASTE
The flavor is sweet with intense aromas of honey, melon and blood orange, which are contrasted with creamy flavors of walnuts and a delicate oak note.
AGING
Ex Bourbon barrels and ex Sherry Pedro Ximenex barrels.
