Rebel Yell Small Batch Rye
Short description
UNBOXED BOTTLE 700 ml - Rebel Yell Small Batch Rye is a whiskey American based on rye, a selection of a few barrels that are combined to create Small Batches, small lots, maintaining a unique style.Whisky Rebel Yell Small Batch Rye
BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
Rebel Yell Rye tells a story that has nearly one hundred years behind it: this Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was born in 1935 as one of the first projects of the new distillation company, Stitzel-Weller, which still owns the Rebel Yell brand today.
Wanting to expand their business, the two companies Stitzel and Weller decided to join forces, a few years after the end of Prohibition, a very flourishing period for many distilleries of whiskey in the United States, also a fruitful period of ideas and projects. In this sense this Rebel Yell Rye tells a broad story that goes hand in hand with the history of the United States.
The percentage of whiskey of rye achieves the majority of this whiskey, just as the decision to bottle small batches of barrels (the wording Small Batch) creates bottles that are limited in number, giving the enthusiast slightly different tasting notes between the various batches on the market.
The wording Straight refers to the ageing, which takes place in virgin American oak barrels: to bring this word back it is necessary that the whiskey is aged for a period of at least four years, an aging already quite consistent for these products.
TASTE: Intense spiciness of white pepper, ginger and cinnamon, with notes of honey and cereal biscuits, ripe fruit and bitter cocoa. The refinement is felt, giving an important structure.
