Rhum JM VSOP is a perfect Rhum Agricole, with its AOC, or the geographical denomination certified and regulated by the French government even if far from the mother country, it is the agricultural rum most loved by rum connoisseurs. A wonderfully balanced distillate rich in aromas, the result of only pressing sugar cane. Made from pure sugar cane juice, called Vesou, which is extracted in less than an hour after cutting the sugar cane. Rhum JM boasts a special condition that allows it to ensure the perfect maintenance of both the sugar canes and their juice or the short distance from the processing plants to the plantation. The company also uses only the highest quality raw materials. The volcanic soil and the best water in the North of Martinique lend nutrients to the crop contributing to the exceptional quality.

In detail, the Rhum JM VSOP is aged for 3 years in American ex Bourbon oak barrels and in French oak barrels for another year before being blended and bottled. Overall balanced between the classic primary aromas of cane juice such as white pulp fruit and the secondary aromas of aging such as boisee and spicy notes. 

TASTE: Intensely structured and a spicy richness. On the palate there are also fresh notes such as lavender and ginger flowers, then continuing with warmer notes of honey and cinnamon.

AGING: American ex Bourbon oak barrels and in French oak barrels.
