Starward is one of the few distilleries in Australia, a continent certainly not known for distillation. Everything is due to Davide Vitale, passionate about whisky with unmistakable Italian origins, who chose the big island – to be precise, an area near Melbourne – to build his own distillery and start offering his product to the world. The distillery is supplied by local companies, avoiding any type of external commercial exchange to maintain zero kilometer credibility. Furthermore, the barrels - small in size - which are used to refine the whisky they come from the wineries of the area, cellars normally committed to proposing great reds based on Shiraz, Cabernet and Pinot Noir.

This Starward Two Fold Double Grain is the union of two types of whisky: one part is of whisky of malted barley and another is of wheat, both produced with local cereals and aged for a minimum of three years.

TASTE: Soft, discreet spicy intensity with notes of wood, caramel, Caribbean cigar tobacco and fresh fruit.

AGING: Oak barrels former Australian red wine.
