Teeling Blackpitts Peated is a recent release from Teeling, a whiskey with a typically Irish DNA plus a peaty twist: for true enthusiasts. Teeling is a recently created distillery, founded in 2015 by John Teeling and Teeling Whiskey Company: in just a few years John and his family have managed to create a distillery respected all over the world, after no distillery had been opened in Dublin for over 125 years.

Passion, hard work and the search for high-level raw materials have certainly contributed to creating great products whiskey: this Teeling Blackpitts Peated is just one example, in this case with something extra: peat. The Teeling distillery is located near an area of ​​Dublin called Blackpitts, which is one of the industrial areas of the city and formerly the site of the malthouses for the distilleries and, above all, the city's breweries. The smoky scent was therefore perceptible in the air: Teeling thought it well to dedicate a whiskey. 

TASTE: Intense and with vinous notes, of dried fruit and ripe fruit, with long-lasting smoky and spicy notes.

AGING: American oak barrels ex Bourbon and barrels ex Sauternes.
