Teeling Small Batch Stout Cask is an original and uncompromising experiment by Teeling, going to refine the whiskey for a final period in casks which held stout beer. Teeling is certainly not a traditional distillery, but rather is often looking for innovative and original solutions: founded in 2015 - after more than a century without new distillery openings in Dublin - it has made itself known for the great quality of its bottles, thanks to cutting-edge technology but also to the skill of the technicians who guide the operations. The raw materials are constantly evolving, and what is the most important raw material, if not the barrel in which the whiskey refine?

So here we are with a series of experiments among which this Teeling Small Batch Stout Cask stands out: the distillery has had the opportunity to adopt some barrels (for which the circulation is limited) previously used by the Galway Bay Brewery craft brewery. Curious note: the barrels were used by the Teeling distillery itself before being "loaned" to the brewery.

TASTE: Intense and with sweet notes of honey, caramel and milk chocolate, fresh fruit and citrus notes.

AGING: Ex Bourbon oak barrels and barrels that contained Imperial Stout beer.
