The Huntly 1998 Duncan Taylor The Octave is a unique creation by Duncan Taylor, one of the most renowned and respected independent bottlers in Scotland and the world. Duncan Taylor started working in the world of whisky in 1938, buying barrels from various Scottish distilleries and marketing it under its own name whisky single malt and blended, combining some very high quality casks. Today the company continues in the footsteps traced by the progenitor and has expanded its range with The Octave series, i.e. whisky aged exclusively in 50-litre barrels, reducing the quantity of bottles produced to less than one hundred for each label. This The Huntly 1998 Duncan Taylor The Octave is a blended of unknown origin, aged for over twenty years in a single small Octave cask.
