Whisky The Irishman 12 Year Old Single Malt
700ml BOTTLE
The Irishman 12 Year Old Single Malt is a whiskey Irish pure malt proposed by the Walsh family, the group responsible for various labels and different blends of whiskey with a keen eye for maintaining the tradition of Irish distillation, one of the oldest in the world, if not the first in Europe. The Irishman 12 Year Old Single Malt is a version aged for 12 years in so-called first fill American oak barrels, i.e. used only once to contain American bourbon, as per the regulations of the whiskey USA.
In Europe the rules are very different and the barrels are used several times, in each step with less active woods and less impact from an organoleptic point of view on the spirit contained. In this case it was decided to use still rather active barrels precisely to allow the Irish spirit to marry perfectly with the variegated notes of American wood. A true classic.
TASTE: intense with notes of pastry and dried fruit, hints of citrus and white spices
