The Irishman Founder's Reserve is the whiskey most representative of The Irishman series, being still produced according to the recipe of the founder of the company, Bernard Walsh. Bernard decided to go into business in 1999 by creating a small line of whiskey Irish suitable for Irish coffee, before expanding the company's business and expanding to other labels, including this The Irishman Founder's Reserve. The name, as you can easily guess, mentions Bernard's recipe which is still followed today by the people who deal with the selection and union of the Irish barrels whiskey before bottling.

The recipe is based on 70% Irish Single Malt and 30% Irish whiskey Single Pot Still, all with triple distillation according to the Irish tradition to smooth out the roughness and deliver a product that is easy to drink and soft on the palate. In addition to its pleasantness drunk neat, this bottle is a worthy component of cocktails and, why not, for an excellent Irish Coffee.

AGING: in oak barrels
