Whisky The Whistler Mosaic Marsala Cask Finish
BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
The Whistler Mosaic Marsala Cask Finish is a very special label within the catalog of The Whistler, a brand created by the Irish distillery Boann. This whiskey in fact it is a single grain that spends most of the refinement in ex Bourbon oak barrels before spending a good 15 months in barrels that previously contained Marsala wine from Sicily: a sort of marriage between Ireland and Italy, where the residues of wine in the barrel influence and expand the olfactory and gustatory baggage of the noble Irish distillate.
The Boann distillery was built in 2016 to support the ever-increasing demand for whiskey Irish but, unable to market too young products, he preferred to create his own brand with some selections from other Irish distilleries, in this case also putting his hand in the final maturation phase. This whiskey it is a rare opportunity to experience this peculiarity, certainly not on the agenda.

AGING: American oak barrels ex Bourbon and barrels ex Marsala.
