Whisky The Whistler PX I Love You
BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
The Whistler PX I Love You is a fairly recent release for this single malt brand from Ireland, home of whiskey more elegant thanks to the classic triple distillation which smooths out the roughness of the distillate. In this case it is an experiment that fits among the many proposed by The Whistler, or a series of labels proposed by the recently built Boann distillery - 2016 - and while waiting for the first own products it is trying to make a name for itself by proposing whiskey distilled elsewhere (mainly the Cooley distillery) and selected according to precise characteristics.
In this case the whiskey proposed is 100% from Irish malted barley and after a few years of aging in ex bourbon oak barrels, a year of finish in oak barrels that contained Sherry Pedro Ximenez, shortened to PX, from which the curious name of this bottle derives .
TASTE: Berries and dark chocolate, dried fruit and spices
AGING: American oak barrels ex Bourbon and European oak barrels ex Sherry Pedro Ximenez.
