The Whistler Sherry Oloroso Cask Finish is a blended whiskey Irish within the brand The Whistler, or the line of spirits marketed by the Boann distillery. The distillery has started producing its own whiskey in 2016 and, while waiting for the first barrels to reach the ideal maturation for marketing with the name of the distillery on the label, Boann decided to give some previews by selecting and blending barrels from other Irish distilleries, including mainly Cooley. This happens quite often, also because the "thirst" for whisky e whiskey has increased a lot in recent years, suggesting the opening of new production plants: the timing of whiskey they are quite long, so the wait can be several years from the first distillation to the actual first bottle put on the market.
