Tipperary Big Field Poitìn is an Irish grain brandy, not a whiskey because it is not aged in wood, even if the procedure is similar to the distillation of a whiskey. We are in Ireland in the Golden Vale and here the Tipperary Boutique Distillery offers various labels, all treated in detail due to the small size of the production plant, also going to create some rare and peculiar distillates. The Poitin is somewhat of an ancestor of the whiskey o whisky we know today, a white distillate that has malted barley and unmalted barley as raw materials in equal parts, all distilled with continuous triple distillation in the still of the Tipperary distillery. A way to taste something different, a real piece of history in the glass.
