Tullibardine
Tullibardine, from the Gaelic "lookout hill, " has its roots in the distant 1488; was born as a place of production of beer and then converted into a distillery in 1947 by William Delmé-Evans, after having tested the water from the springs in the area, ideal for the distillation of whisky. The distillery is located in the town of Blackford in the Highland region and in 2011 it became the property of the Picard family, who wanted to preserve its traditional and independent character.
Tullibardine unlike many distilleries concentrates all the production phases of the whisky in its plant, monitoring and controlling all production processes so as to create products of the highest quality.
The basic range of the distillery consists of whisky with aging of 25, 20 and 15 years e whisky without indication of age (NOS) which differ in the different casks used: ex Sherry, ex Bourbon, ex Sauternes and ex Burgundy.
