BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 700ml
This Straight Rye Whiskey it is produced in Vermont on the WhistlePig farm, using for aging the barrels that have always distinguished the Old World ("Old World"). Pickarell, the company's Master Distiller, refines this Rye Whiskey of 12 years for another 3-6 weeks in Portuguese barrels ex Madeira (63%) and Port (7%), and French barrels ex Sauternes (30%) to create a whisky of stunning rye. It is released at the alcohol content of 86 Proof (46% vol).
TASTE: Spicy notes of rye, apricots, plums, raisins, dates and honey; in the final dark chocolate, winter fruit, caramel and vanilla
AGING: New American oak barrels, ex Porto, ex Sauternes and ex Madeira barrels.
