The WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey 15 Year Old is a whiskey 100% rye, a limited production highly requested by collectors and lovers of the excellent whiskey. This whiskey is produced by the WhistlePig distillery located in an old renovated barn and used as a distillery no earlier than 2015. The innovation that allowed the company to create this whiskey Rye different from previous editions was to want to age this one whiskey for 15 years in white American oak barrels from Vermont Estate. This particular oak gives it more complex aromatic characteristics and makes this one unique whisky. A rich spirit, decidedly enveloping, warm, inebriating, suitable for evenings with friends in front of the fireplace. A smoky memory is given to it by a short final passage in Vermont oak barrels but more toasted. Kosher certified product

TASTE: Definitely very complex, almost thick, buttery and warm. Easily identifiable notes of leather and tobacco
