This Yamazaki, is released in 2014 and is one of the two whisky Single Malt Distiller's Reserve from Suntory in Japan. This Single Malt from the famous Yamazaki distillery is characterized by fruity notes and is obtained from whisky matured in Bordeaux wine barrels and ex Sherry barrels.
It also features Mizunara cask matured malt, adding subtle oak scented notes. Yamazaki has reached a century of history: founded in 1923 by Masataka Taketsuru and Shinjiro Torii to boost Masataka's dreams, today Yamazaki dominates the whisky Japanese and has obtained great media attention thanks to important awards and international recognition. This Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve is nothing more than the selection intended to act as a business card, with a peculiar refinement that enhances the quality of the distillate and above all the skill in selecting the barrels for aging.

Rich fruit flavors, an explosion in the mouth of the taste and flavors of strawberry, vanilla cream, sandalwood and cinnamon.
